This video shows you how to install new spark plugs from TRQ on your 2015-2019 Subaru Outback (2.5L H4). Spark is one of the four required components for an internal combustion engine to run. If your spark plugs are failing, worn, or dirty, you may experience rough starts, rough idle, poor performance, or poor mileage.

This repair was done on a 2015 Subaru Outback 2.5i Premium 2.5L Wagon 4-Door AWD Automatic and the process should be similar on the following vehicles:

• 14mm Wrench
• 10mm Socket
• 14mm Socket
• Air Blow Gun
• 9/16 Inch Spark Plug Socket
• Ratchet
• Socket Driver
• Socket Extensions
• Swivel
• Battery Terminal Brush
• Gloves
• Safety Glasses

  1. This is great for instructions to getting access but terrible for the remove/ replace . The rear drivers side plug is the hardest to get at and replace. The oil leakage and new (?) coils are left a mystery. Possibly the cam cover gasket(s) ( RTV caulking) has failed?
