Just a really quick video showing how easy it is to change the cabin air filter in a 2014 Toyota Camry. Save yourself some money and change the cabin air filter yourself. This is also called a pollen filter. The Dealership offered to do this for $69.95, but I have heard of them charging as much as $150.
How often you change your cabin air filter depends on how much you use your car’s heating and air conditioning fan and air circulation system. Manufacturer’s all seem to have different recommendations, but are typically every 15,000-30,000 miles. You also might want to check/change it more frequently, especially if you notice:
1. Reduced airflow when climate control systems are on
2. Lingering unpleasant odors
3. Increasing dust settling on vehicle surfaces
